Later two men discover the body and the secret that this man, Jack Pennington, was the soldier who was ultimately ordered to push the dooms day button.

A lonely bus driver befriends a homeless man that makes a bus stop his home.  When the driver learns of the man's book that he's been secretly writing and his battle with depression, he helps him conquer both goals. 

 

The driver returns the homeless man back to his wife and delivers a best seller book.

When a late night radio talk show host is discussing religion in schools she gets a creepy caller telling her about his urge to do something.  Not revealing the context of this urge the radio host begins to egg him on, all the while the caller is driving to the studio to release his urge.
